Subject: why do I feel like this

My dad died when I was a baby and I never knew him other than from photos and what my mum has told me. Thing is I really miss him and get jealous of my friends when they talk about what they done with their dads at the weekend or moan about them for one reason or another. why do I feel like this when I didn't even know him

Your bound to miss him hun. whether you knew him or not, he is still your dad and is still a part of you. Where ever he is now, hes looking down on you to see how you are, and to watch you grow up. I kno what u feel about being jealous about your friends and their dads. Im the same, my dad died when i was 14. What really gets on my nervs is when people say things liek " oh i hate my dad." maybe you could talk to your friends about how u are feeling and that? im sure they would like you to talk to them, so they kno how you are feeling and so they can be there 4u .X
