Subject: Communication Problems

Hi, im Aj... I study audio production and engineering at university and everything is going good. Unfortunatley i think i have problems socialising with people most of the time and i wish i could just be a more outgoing person. Dont get me wrong but i love company, and i have friends but socialising with people u dont know effectivley is hard. And i need to if i want to pursue a career in the music business. i think its cuz i smoke to much weed but alot of people do and their not as boring as me. I just wanna be able to create the first impression. I need to come out of myself... i want to be the person i used to be when i was 15. not the quiet, boring person i am now. ive got too much to offer to be so suppressive.
if u can understand what im sayin... help me out

Hi AJ,

Read your message, & I can assure you there are lots of nice people to talk to on this site - what was it that brought you here? Di you suffer a loss & has this made you quieter? Or was it the move to Uni? I'm at Uni too, actually studying music & looking to go into the Music Business myself - into Project Management hopefully. It's a hard business to get into! I came here because I lost my Dad a couple of years ago, & now my Grandad is also dying of cancer - people are own age sometimes find these things hard to talk about, & don't always understand, & I find communication by email/message/writing easier when talking about things like this - are you the same?
